If you’ve ever tried to raise your own Showpigs then you probably already know… farrowing season has the potential to be very very difficult, and even the most seasoned players in the game have a tough crop every now and then… this past winter was our turn! Numbers were small, and we elected to only sell them privately. We’re very grateful for those who stood with us through the tough season and it only makes wins like this that much sweeter!

P.S. As the law of averages go, our summer crop is phenomenal, and we can’t wait to show them off in a few more weeks!! If youre needing one to show next spring stay tuned!!!

❕❕The best Farrowing season in years ❕❕

** And for what it’s worth those are the biggest legs and feet to ever hit the surface at GFG on a 1-hour old baby pig 🦍

Be ready for sale season this fall! It’s going to be special!!!!

We’ve bought in on some special boars throughout the years… this one is the best in our opinion. We won’t preach too much, but we will say this: there are some VERY good boars available this season and we’d rather breed sows to this one than anything else!

THANK YOU to Chris Danner for letting us tie into this one and to the Livermores for creating and offering one this quality!

Proclamation
Sire: Test of Time
Dam: Wide Awake X Rightfully So X Never Before

Bred by Livermore Owned with Galt Farms,UT
PROCLAMATION was purchased at the Draft 2026. Blake and I traveled to see this boar in person and when we left we knew he needed to be in Chalmers. Very possibly the best boar to hit the two of us at one time as hard as any ever have. PROCLAMATION pedigree is lined up as well which should make more consistent animals. He himself is dense!!! His toes and bone work are big, correct and built correctly. He has a good looking boar skull, long neck, wide square chest and a barrell for his rib cage. His length of hip and function of his hind leg are excellent. He also has that extra hair too. Yes, I like this one alot!! Enough to proclaim his strengths. Therefore the name PROCLAMATION!!!!!! CKD
