Our girls have decided to start an early molt and take a little break from laying eggs! 🐔🥚

Because of that, we won't have enough eggs to stock the farm stand, so we will **not be open this Saturday**.

Thank you all for your understanding and continued support! We'll let everyone know as soon as our girls are back to filling the egg baskets. ❤️

🥚 Fresh Farm Eggs — **$3/dozen**
🍓 Homemade Jams — **$5/jar**
🍋 Fresh Lemonade from another amazing local small business — **$4**

🐔 We're also processing the last of our meat chickens this weekend! We have a **limited quantity** available for **$12 each**. If you'd like to reserve one, please send us a message to be added to the list. **Pick-up will be Sunday afternoon.**

Processing day on the homestead. ❤️

It's one of the hardest days on the farm, but it's also one of the most rewarding. Today is a reminder that raising your own food takes time, sacrifice, and a whole lot of hard work. We believe every animal deserves a good life, and we never take this responsibility lightly.

This lifestyle isn't for everyone, but it's the one we're proud to live. Every long day is another step toward providing food we know and trust.

One thing we don't like on the homestead is a mean rooster. A good rooster protects his girls, not picks on them. If all you're doing is bullying the hens, you might end up in the crock pot. 🐓😂

Whoever said pigs aren't smart has clearly never chased one at 5:00 in the morning. 😂 These little escape artists wake up and choose chaos every single day. Meanwhile, I'm out here sprinting across the yard before I've even had my coffee. 🐷☕ I swear they're sitting around at night planning their next jailbreak. Farm life definitely keeps you humble! 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣
