Okay… seeing Year One all in one place hits a little differently. 🌸

A backyard, a lot of seeds, a whole lot of learning, and somehow… a real flower business.

It wasn’t perfect. But damn, I’m proud of it.

Now let’s talk about what actually worked. 👀

I started a backyard flower farm and here’s what actually happened…

Now it’s a flower farm, a business, and a whole lot of lessons.

Was Year One perfect? Absolutely not. 😂
But I’m really freaking proud of what I built.

Year One recap starts now!

Follow along for the wins, fails, and lessons learned from year one.

I thought I was just growing a few flowers. 🌸

And somehow, one year later, this little backyard has become a flower farm, a business, and something I’m pretty damn proud of.

The final market was supposed to be this weekend… but the market got cancelled.

So we’re pivoting. 😂

I still have flowers, so I’m opening up a limited Friday Farm Pickup in Bennington.

And then it’s officially time to close out Year One and get REAL about it — what worked, what didn’t, what I’d do differently, and everything I learned along the way.

One small backyard flower farm can do big things. 🌱

If you’ve been thinking about growing your own flowers, maybe this is your sign. 🌸

I’m sharing what I’m learning along the way—what works, what doesn’t, and everything in between.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. Just start. 🌱

Year one of Hilltop Wildflowers. And what a year it’s been. Reflecting on this year as season one comes to an end.

I’m a mom of 3, a full-time working woman, a pilot’s wife, and somehow… a backyard flower farmer too. 😂

I’m building a beautiful flower farm in a very normal-sized backyard—and showing you what’s actually possible when you start with what you have.

If you want to grow your own flowers, build a backyard flower farm, or just want to see what’s possible with a little space and a lot of flowers…

you’re in the right place. 🌸

I turned a backyard full of flowers into THIS. 🌸✨

10 centerpieces + a welcome arrangement for my biggest event yet. (Thank you for trusting me, it feels so surreal!)

And honestly, this one feels extra special because so much of what you’re seeing started right in my little backyard.

Not every flower was grown here—I supplemented with a few wholesale blooms—but the majority of the heart behind this event came from what was growing just steps from my house.

A tiny backyard can do a LOT when you start with what you have and figure it out as you go. 🤍

Okay… which centerpiece is your favorite? 👀🌸
