Who’s ready for Thanksgiving and what’s on your menu???
It’s just going to be my husband and I this year, but we are still ‘doing the thing’ or “thang”, as they say here in the south!
I think I’ve settled on the menu:
-1/2 pasture raised Turkey
-Gravy, using cassava flour in the roux
-Cranberry sauce with apple and orange
-Glazed Kohlrabi
-Stuffing/Dressing with sausage and apple, using bread cubes from gluten/grain free bread.
-Roasted sliced Sweet Potatoes with garlic and sage.
I haven’t really thought about dessert - not sure that I’ll bother with one at all - I’m not a big dessert person (unless it’s there, then I’ll eat it all 😆)
