There has been a lot of buzz lately about AI and images of children. So we wanted to pop on here and give a brief update of our photography policies for families with minor children:
🐐🐄 to us farmers AI still means something very different that has to due with breeding livestock 😉
🎞️We continue to stay committed to hand editing photos and refuse to utilize AI or pre-set editing features
📷We continue to use offline storage to respect and protect our client's privacy
📸Updated policy:
We will no longer be posting full-face photos of children on our FB page, in ads, and we will be removing them from our website. We have had all the correct permission slips signed but our convictions will not allow us to continue to feed AI material that can be stolen and used to exploit minors (even when copy righted with a water mark as all of our publicly shared photos are). We have a private selection of portfolio photos that we will message via secure means (not FB) for those who are new to our farm and photography and may want to hire us). We also have our hard copy album that folks can check out during farm pick-ups.
You'll notice that we've been sharing less and less photos of our own farm hands and no recent facial posts. This has not been on accident. If things continue at this rate we will shut down our FB page and website to protect copy righted images from being stolen and misused and to protect our clients who appreciate our discretion as well as our brand.
