Garden Organic is calling for action against glyphosate - and with good reason.
Glyphosate is the world's most widely used herbicide, but growing evidence suggests its impacts reach far beyond the w**ds it targets.
Research has linked glyphosate to:
🧬 Human health concerns. T.
🥕 Food contamination.
🐝 Wildlife impacts.
⚠️ Greater toxicity in commercial products.
There are many alternatives for w**d control. By working with nature rather than against it, we create gardens that are more resilient, productive and full of life.

This December, the UK Government will decide whether to renew the glyphosate licence, potentially allowing its use until *2041*.

Biodynamic farming has shown another path for decades. Demeter-certified farms have never permitted glyphosate or synthetic herbicides. Instead, they manage w**ds by building fertile living soils through crop rotations, composting, mulching, biodiversity and careful stewardship - demonstrating that healthy ecosystems are the best long-term defence against w**ds.
