All supplies are furnished.
We provide the jars, fresh produce, spices and equipment,. Just bring yourself and an apron ( if you have one)
Take home the harvest:
Every participant goes home with one (1) freshly made jar of pickles of their choice!

So as usual for us... Up early, picked a peck of peppers, literally a peck, and some squash but of course we don't grow as much as we use. So we have been off gathering this morning
SASSY SALSA = 2 boxes of tomatoes, a box of red bell peppers and a box of green bell peppers.and some onions..
The few peppers left will go into CORN RELISH
CINNAMON PICKLES = 2 boxes of giant cucumbers
OUR ALMOST FAMOUS SQUASH PICKLES = a box of squash and onions
AMAZING APPLE BUTTER= 2 boxes of apples
DILL & KOSHER DILL SPEARS= another box of cucumbers

We still have to pick plums for plum jam this afternoon

I'd say we are going to have a fun week!!!!
I love this time of year and all the fruits and vegetables growing! Our 4 freezers are already full and waiting for me to start making things from the goodies inside.

I even had someone ask Saturday when are we going to be making Holiday Magic and Christmas Jam.. maybe this week near the end!

Just look at this giant , commercial mop bucket (and I got a mop) he bought for me.
Having a cottage food business, there is a lot of activity in my house. I mop my floors several times a week.
Swiffers wear our REALLY fast, I've worn out 2 of the spin buckets in the last 3 months...so here is my newest mop bucket... I'm excited and my floors are in need of a good mopping since we have been juicing plums and making pickles all last week! And this week looks to be really busy too, so it will get lots of use!

Oh my! CASES & CASES of our jams, jellies, pickles, relishes, BBQ Sauces and pie fillings, went to new homes this weekend. Stay Put towels, glasses cases and more found new homes!
While Sweet Mike and I are very tired, i can't even express how much we enjoy seeing people who come looking for us, who love what we do, and are loyal customers.
This absolutely one of the best events for us!
