Enchanted Hill Miniature Lamancha Dairy Goats The Enchanted Hill Miniature LaMancha herd was started in the spring of 2009. We also envision producing MiniManchas that perform well in the show ring.

The Enchanted Hill Miniature LaMancha herd was started in the spring of 2009 with the purchase of four outstanding purebred LaMancha does. These were bred to four of our Enchanted Hill Nigerian Dwarf bucks, so in the spring of 2010 we were off and running with first generation MiniMancha kids. Since that time we have added three more LaMancha does, some unrelated MiniMancha kids, and one outstandi

ng buck from totally unrelated lines. Our goal is to produce, healthy, well-conformed animals that can serve as family milkers and/or pets. Does will have well-attached, properly-shaped udders for a long lifetime of production. As we move forward to a herd with American and Purebred status, knowing that later generations show more predictability and consistency in possessing correct breed type, it is hoped that our herd will become known as the “go-to” place for superior MiniManchas.

At Enchanted Hill, we set a new record this year when we retained ONLY four Miniature LaMancha doelings. These girls will not be bred until Fall 2023. In order, they are: Tulip (Geranium X Forrest Elf), Laughing Water (Shadow's Kat X Raincrow), Fayetta (Fairy X Bilberry), and Tinkerbelle (Pixie X Double Stuff).

Enchanted Hill Galloway has been paired with Enchanted Hill Elf. These two are from two of our best does, Geranium and Fairy. As a first freshener, Galloway had a very nice, well-balanced and well-attached udder. Fourth generation, 50/50, gopher-eared kids are due around March 25th.
