5 weeks!!

They were not very enthusiastic about the heat this week. I didn't have the heart to tell them it's only bound to get worse. Most of them are already pros at sleeping on the vents in the house when they're winding down from a play session.

We continue to see sparks of their personalities and did their first big dog stacked photos as well.

We have added going outside daily to our routine, along with being out in the house, playing with the other adult dogs, and many other experiences. Potty training is going pretty well, they seem to have the idea about the alfalfa pellets being a good spot to go potty along with their pads. P*e is still a bit iffy because they are still working on bladder control and not going immediately when the mood strikes.

Overall they are a lovely bunch and I'm simultaneously looking forward to making my final decision on who my keeper is and getting the raise just one puppy and dreading see everyone off.

I forgot to post here for our week 2 update, so enjoy week 2 and 3! We are little dogs now with opinions about everything. Eyes are open and everyone is walking. We've started desensitization protocols, daily classical music listening, and socialized with a few friends sparingly. Puppies also have started eating food with their first couple puppy food and goat's milk meals with some different additions. They aren't eating a ton but it's good to get their gut biome going!

We have a little bit of room on our wait list, in particular for a male sport/performance prospect!

The DND party were 1 week old on Tuesday! They continue to be the sweetest potatoes with sparks of their personality beginning.

We are thrilled to welcome our first litter cobred with Amy Suzanne Burnette of Coolmoor Australian Shepherds!

Jaina whelped 8 puppies in 4.5 hours and is so utterly in love with them. She is the best Mom! They are good little potatoes and we cannot wait to see their personalities blossom.

Confirmed on Ultrasound and due May 1 Jaina x Wyatt puppies are officially baking!

I've been trying to figure out the right match for Jaina. I did not get Wyatt to pair to her. I reached out to a few stud owners (who I still adore and would love to use!) and was thinking hard about the qualities I want to bring to J. The more I thought and talked to people, a few people I am close to said, "Why not Wyatt?"

My response was always, "I don't want to be the person who only breeds to what's in her house."

They had a point though, he has all the qualities I'm looking to bring to her and a pedigree that backs it up. I finally shyly asked Amy Suzanne Burnette what she thought. She said, "Finally! I wanted you to think of it yourself but I was really hoping you'd come to this conclusion!"

We expect fun, versatile companions who want to do the thing whether it's an active companion or whatever sport strikes your fancy, an easily cultivated off-switch, moderate coat and size, and correct movement. Both dogs are go anywhere, do anything dogs who love to do whatever their human has decided is their focus of the moment. Wyatt in particular brings the next level of herding talent I'm hoping to cultivate while Jaina brings more grit and tenacity to the table.

We are currently only open for auditing and possibly 1 lesson slot this coming weekend! It looks like the weather is going to play nice (for February).

We still have 4 older girls and 2 younger girls available. Joni came back today and we will get updated photos of everyone this week. There are also 3 related Gotlands - 2 white and 1 grey all high % - and 2 shetlands available here in Tri Cities. I'm working on getting photos of them to help their owner find homes.

Raw lamb/mutton dog food available - $11/lb. Organ + meat grind (no bones).

Four of our GSBANA registered ewes and 2 ewe lambs are looking for new pastures. They are currently in Southeast Washington State. Joni, April, and Jasmine are still of breeding age; Gina has earned her retirement and is looking for a pet/fiber home only.

Joni, April, and Jasmine are all open. We have two rams on site they can be bred to after my breeding is done for an April lambing (pre-purchase necessary). There are no current photos of Joni as she is off site with a friend but coming back.

Ewe lamb 112 is out of April. Tag 108 is out of Jasmine. Both girls will happily stay with me if there's no interest. 110-day fleece and structure evaluations are available.
