The story behind this photo....

This is from a winemaker's dinner two summers ago. The original plan was dinner in the vineyard under the stars. But mother nature had other plans - 50 MPH winds blew through our place that day!

Our next door neighbors graciously offered the use of their barrel room and we rushed to move everything in and set it up - finishing just a few minutes before the first guests arrived, which is when I quickly snapped this photo.

The dinner was fantastic. It was like it was meant to be.

In this industry the word "pivot" is used a lot! We are experts at the pivot. 🩰🕺
