Did you know Parra Farms is certified through the USDA MAEAP program.

This sign marks a farmer who’s verified in the Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program (MAEAP) Cropping System.

The MAEAP Cropping System recognizes farms that implement crop production practices that promote sound water use, soil conservation, and nutrient management.

What do the farms get out of the arrangement? Protection against nuisance complaints, preferred consideration for technical assistance, and recognition as leading stewards of our natural resources.

Good for the environment, good for farmers, and good for communities. That's the MAEAP promise.

3pm-7pm
Come out and see us!

It's gonna be a very special Monday Market, as we wrap up the dog days of summer and head into our last few weeks of farmers market season.

This week we have one of our absolute favorite guests making an appearance at our Chef's Table!

Catch Chef Lisa Counts of the The Chopping Block starting at 4pm for a demo and free samples. She always blows our mind and we always walk away from her demos feeling, smarter, inspired, and extra hungry.

We also have sweet tunes from Pierce Crask. That's in addition to 30+ food vendors, at Chicago's coolest Monday farmers market. 3pm-7pm at Broadway & Thorndale.
