Ellis Family Farm A place where farming has been a way of life for generations. Come see us at Farmers Markets in Chicago! On Sundays we are at Skokie!

Most Saturdays in summer, you can find us at Green City, West Loop, Division St., Oak Park, 61st, and Naperville. If you missed the weekend markets, you can find us at Green City on Wednesdays and the S.O.A.R. on the Museum of Contemporary Art on Tuesday. Beginning November 61st will be inside the Experimental Station and you can order for meet and pick up during winter months at Green City, West Loop, Division Street Market and Oak Park.

Clyospora
Wild fire smoke and air quality

We have fresh produce and we are bringing it into the city tomorrow as usual.

We don’t want anyone to be in an unsafe situation but we would be so grateful for your support if you can get out and about. Please be patient, we are down several employees.

It does look like the clyospora outbreak is traced back to Mexico and a large agricultural operation there. We will continue to be diligent with sanitation and we will continue to stay in touch with the news from the CDC. We also work with the local MSU Extension to stay up to date on local issues and studies.

A little throwback to that time that we tried to do Framer’s Market during the Krasl Art Fair on the Bluff.
This year we will be letting our St Joe team take a break. We encourage you to go and support the incredible artists and other vendors. We will be back at our normal spot on the bluff Saturday, Joh 18th.

Spring has ramped up!

Ramps are a wild onion 🧅 that grows in the woods. It is officially named Allium Tricoccum and has a bulb…similar to a daffodil bulb (but smaller).

Who likes to cook with ramps? We will have them available at Green City Market on Saturday.

There is something magical about spring. It is officially here and it makes us so happy.
