How to read a mushroom coffee label (so you know what you’re actually drinking):

1. Fruiting body vs. mycelium — fruiting body is the actual mushroom. “Myceliated grain” is mostly starch filler.
2. Extract vs. powder — extracts concentrate the beneficial compounds. Plain dried powder is far weaker per gram.
3. Dose in mg — if the label won’t tell you milligrams per serving, that’s your answer. We put ours right on the bag: 2,000mg.
4. Only ingredients you can pronounce — if you need a chemistry degree to read the label, put it back.
5. No proprietary blends — “proprietary blend: 500mg” of six mushrooms tells you nothing about any of them.

That’s the whole test. If a brand passes all five, buy with confidence.
