Let's talk Pizza. We've tried many places, but unlike many areas, it's hard to find a great pizza restaurant. First off, "toppings" are called "toppings" because they belong on TOP of the pizza. Pepperoni that isn't on top doesn't get that crispness. Put your dang toppings on the TOP!

Next, the cheese/sauce/bread ratio. It needs to be done right within certain tolerances. Too much cheese takes over the pizza. If someone orders extra cheese, then by all means, add more, but not on every pizza. And too much sauce make everything slide right off the pizza. Dough is a tricky one, some people like thin crust, some like that deep dish and some like a regular pan pizza crust. The biggest issue with pizza around this area isn't the pizza though. It's the customer service. And this is true of most restaurants around here. Keep regular hours. Don't close early, don't change the days you're opening and don't change your menu every other day. We customers want to be able to know when you're open or not. Some of your long standing establishments like 4 Little Pigs, Hutchen's, Bad Bob's etc are reliable for these things. It's why they're still in business!

Lastly, and this goes right in the Customer Service section, when customers complain, don't get defensive and when it's on social media, don't ask your friends to come to your rescue. Take ownership, ask what you can do to make it right or just stay out of it.

Merry Christmas everyone!

I've been lax at creating on this page for the past year+ but will be posting more.

The first post I'll do is about Parcell's in Draffenville. I go there with my wife fairly regular which says something about the quality of the food there. Their burgers are excellent! Not to the level of Burgers on Wheels, but a solid choice. If you ask my 3 year old granddaughter, their grilled cheese is top notch and I have to agree! They also do a grilled cheese with bacon and tomato that I need to try. It's a little bit of a wait for your food sometimes, but always worth it. Their fries are good but could be better, then again I'm partial to crinkle cut if they're crispy. They do have healthy choices, which few establishments in the area have.

If you go to Parcell's you have to go down to the bakery and try some of their sweets! We typically get ice cream, but their cakes are good too. They have some awesome decorators! Donuts are decent.

The coffee shop is top notch! (I'm a big coffee drinker and drink it black)

Ratings (overall including the bakery and coffee shop):
Service: 9
Food quality: 9
Selection: 10
Cleanliness: 10
Friendliness of staff: 9
Wait time to order: 10
Wait time for food: 10
Overall environment: 10 (LOVE the small shops appeal)

All in all, you can't go wrong with this establishment.
