The clover is blooming and the bees are buzzing! Our girls are working hard and loving the clover patches we planted for them. However, the bees aren't the only ones enjoying the clover, our geese Bonnie and Frank are loving the clover too!

If you happen to see honey bees out today, they are out foraging getting ready for winter. Our girls are out taking advantage of the warm weather to forage what they can get from our hive boxes on the shop porch. I am cooking up a batch of bee food for them to put away for the winter. Their hive boxes are insulated and winterized for whenever this crazy Louisiana decides to actually behave like fall! Still plenty of honey available for hot tea, hot toddies and stocking stuffers!
