🐝🇨🇦 Busy Bees Bayou took a trip to Canada, and one of our favorite stops was visiting the bee colonies at The Fairmont! Beautiful gardens, busy pollinators, and a fun fact that beekeepers always find the bees wherever we go.

What a sweet morning with our new little friends at St. Paul’s Day School! 🐝

Busy Bees Bayou had the opportunity to teach 4 and 5 year olds all about bees, pollination, honey production, and what a beekeeper does. The highlight of the day? Bringing our observation hive so everyone could safely see bees in action up close!

From pretending to be the queen bee to learning about the tools beekeepers use, these kiddos asked some amazing questions and were so excited to learn about honey bees.

Thank you, St. Paul’s Day School, for welcoming us and helping create the next generation of bee lovers! 🌼🍯🐝

🐝 At Busy Bees Bayou, we’re proud to be connected with Hives for Heroes — an incredible organization connecting veterans, first responders, and service members with the healing power of beekeeping. ❤️🇺🇸

Through mentorship, hands-on training, and community support, Hives for Heroes helps Heroes find connection, purpose, and peace through the hive. Their program pairs experienced beekeepers with new “NewBEEs” to learn the art and science of beekeeping together.

We believe bees do more than make honey — they build community, restore purpose, and bring people together. 🍯🐝

By “problem,” we mean we keep finding ways to add honey to it.
Drizzle on top? Of course.
Mixed in the dough? Obviously.
