Hey guys! Thank you for following and supporting my son. I wanted to give you a snippet of Bryant's journey with his chickens.
He worked his b***y off this summer to redo the small chicken coop, which is where we keep the baby-babies. That coop has electricity near for the heat lamp and all the things. The babies finally arrived on 7/17/25. He thought they would never get here. They arrived at the post office in a little box and he was stoked!!
Then he had to work his b***y off to redo the big chicken coop, which is where we move them between 3-4 months old. They need more room and we can let them out to free range in our little pasture during the day. He even traps critters that don't have his chickens best interest in mind and relocates them safely. Besides the driving part, he does it all by himself.
He got his first egg on 1/5/26. I wish I could have captured his face when he came running inside to show me. He had been anticipating them starting to lay for a few weeks and he was so excited when they finally started! He gathers eggs daily now. He washes them himself before he places them into an egg carton to sell. I love the way brown eggs look.
I have no idea how this journey will turn out, but I'm very excited for him. The egg production is slow at the moment due to the days being short, but once it picks up he will save his money for an incubator to hatch his own chicks to sell, hopefully starting around March.
Enjoy the pictures of his chicken journey. I plan to keep everyone updated as his journey continues. Thank you again for supporting my son!
