Coler parkrun

A free, weekly, timed 5k run/jog/walk on a Saturday. Open to all ages and all abilities - each week we have a Tail Walker, so you will never be last. Join us!

Organized by volunteers. Note that there is no parking directly at the start/finish point of the event. Parking can be found at the Coler Creek Park North Gateway trailhead (off Peach Orchard Rd), at Coler Park South Gateway trailhead (off NW 3rd St) and at the main Coler Mountain Bike Preserve trailhead on NW Grv Ln (also off NW 3rd St). It is a 15 min walk from the parking lots to the event star

t location - please ensure you give yourselves enough time to get to the start in time for the briefings that occur at 7:50am prior to the 8:00am start.

Twelve lovely participants joined us today for parkrun Coler, including 5 who joined us for their first ever parkruns.

Congrats to junior parkrunner Rose who was out first finisher today, and to Robert who was our first male finisher. Well done to the both of you!

Hot on Robert's heels was 8 year old Will running his first ever parkrun (which he smashed in 26 mins flat!!), as well as Alice, Ellen, Carrie, and Niranchanaa who were also at their first ever parkrun. Welcome to the parkrun family to you all and we hope to see a lot more of you!

And finally a big thank you to our volunteers this week. Run Director Jez was helped out by Ethan and Shanjay. Thank you to you all!

We had 13 this week at Coler parkrun with few first timers and a couple of parkrun tourists.

Our first finisher was a first timer but wasn't registered so unfortunately we cant call them out and congratulate them, and Jane was our first female finisher - well done Jane!

As well as the two unregistered participants who joined us for the first time today, we also had Grant join us for the first time and tourist Margaret visiting us. Welcome!

Also a big shout out to Jane, Rose, Shanjay, Adam, Sophia, and Jay who all set new Personal Bests today!! Well done to you all!

Big thanks to our Run Director Gemma this week who was helped out by Margaret, Marcus and Lincoln.

Thirteen joined us for Coler parkrun this week, with 7 taking part in their first ever parkrun, several visitors from out of town and one parkrun tourist joining us from Spain!

Congrats go out to James and Quinn for being our first finisher and first female finisher respectively today - both taking part in their first parkrun! Joining them for their first runs were Jeremy, Sterling, Ally, Sophia, and Akshay. A big welcome to the parkrun family to you all and we hope to see you all again!

And we also had Naida join us again today for the fourth time all the way from Spain!

Big thanks to our volunteers this week - our amazing Run Director Liv was helped out by Jez, Tracy, and Naida.

Eight came to join us today for a rather chilly parkrun here at Coler Mtb Preserve, with several familiar faces being joined by three new additions to the parkrun family!

A big Hello to McKenna, Luis, and Haley - we hope you enjoyed your first ever parkrun and that we get to see a lot more of you all now that you have found us!

Congrats to Joe this week who picked up our first finisher spot, and to McKenna who picked up our first female finisher. Well done to you both.

And also congrats to Kelly who set a new Personal Best today! 🥳

Seven came out to join us this week at Coler parkrun, with 2 doing their first ever parkruns and two joining us for their second parkruns but their first time with us.

Welcome to the parkrun family Andy and Jenna, and welcome to our humble little parkrun to Claire and Ward! We hope to see a lot more of you all!!

Congrats this week to Jez who was our first finisher, and to Madison who was our first female finisher. Also congrats to Madison, Claire, and Ward who all set new personal bests today too!! Woohoo - well done to you all!!

As always, this coming Saturday we will be canceling Coler parkrun due to the Bentonville Half Marathon and the fact that the majority of our volunteers and participants will be at the race in some capacity or another.

We will be back as normal on April 11th.

Nine participants joined us for parkrun Coler this week, with junior parkrunner Lincoln once again picking up our first finisher spot, with another junior, Rose, close on his heels as our first female finisher (setting a new personal best in the process!). Well done Lincoln and Rose!

Also setting a new PB's this weekend were Liv and True - congrats to the both of you!

We were also joined by so.e first timers this week - hello and welcome to the parkrun family to Levi, Christine, and Aidan. We look forward to seeing you all on a regular basis.

And finally, a big thank you to our volunteers this week - Run Director Casey (and Evelyn!), and Ethan who helped out.

PLEASE NOTE - as we do each year, we will be canceling parkrun next week due to the Bentonville Half Marathon. We want to wish good luck to all of our regulars and volunteers who will be racing that morning!!

We will be back again as normal the following week of April 11th.

It's starting to warm up here now, and we had 8 come to join our first hot run of the year.

Congrats to Lincoln for picking up the first finisher spot this week. And congrats also to Joe who set a new personal best!

We want to say a big hello too to Alan who joined us on his first parkrun. Welcome to the family Alan!

And as always, a big thank you to our volunteers - Run Director Gemma was helped out today by her little mini-me's Will and Georgia, as well as Ben and True.

Hope to see you all next week. PLEASE NOTE - that the following week (April 4th) it is the Bentonville Half Marathon, and as always due to the fact that most of our volunteers and participants will be at the race in some form or other, we will be canceling parkrun that week.

We had 10 join us again this week for parkrun Coler, with tourist John (joining us from Manchester, UK) picking up out first finisher spot. Welcome John and we hope you enjoyed our humble little parkrun!

We also had Adam set a new personal best this weekend - congrats Adam! - and Jonathan joined us for his first ever parkrun - welcome to the family Adam!
