🌞We had amazing time at GoodThymes Organic Farm this morning! The weather was gorgeous, the farm was beautiful, and the day was packed with so much good information!
🌱Paul and Cortney began with their seed starting area and we ended at their pack shed. In-between we learned how they are managing their high tunnel and field crops, how an on-farm water management grant from the Kentucky Horticulture Council has improved their operations, and how they are building their soil health through their composting system and cover cropping. We even got to see their flail mower in action!
💚We are grateful to be partnering with our friends at the Kentucky Horticulture Council to host these field days and to our friends at Grow Appalachia and University of Kentucky Department of Horticulture for sharing their high tunnel and vegetable production expertise!
