🍳 Sofia Benedict: poached eggs, focaccia, prosciutto, ricotta, broiled tomato & hollandaise + lobster (extra)
🥩 Filet Bites & Eggs: prime filet mignon, scrambled eggs, hot cherry peppers & parmesan bread

📍SideBar Gastropub (45 Main St, Hackensack, NJ 07601). Did you know Sidebar has an AMAZING brunch?! 🍳
They open at 12 PM on Sundays, and it’s such a cozy spot for a fall brunch! 🍂 The eggs entrées are SO good, but honestly…their brunch cocktails are next level. 🍸

Everything is made so fresh, with homemade sauces, and you can really taste the difference! And the French toast?! 😍 Definitely a must-try!

📍Pidde Food (115 Terhune Ave, Lodi, NJ 07644). Fresh dough. Handmade. Baked to order. If you love Turkish food, you need to try .us! Everything is made fresh daily with handcrafted dough and high-quality ingredients. Plus, everything is HALAL!

🥙 What I tried:
• Lahmacun: thin, crispy Turkish flatbread topped with seasoned minced meat, vegetables, herbs & spices
• Turkish Pide: a boat-shaped flatbread with that perfect crispy-yet-soft crust and flavorful toppings
• Nutella Pide: SO DELICIOUS! A must if you have a sweet tooth!

The lahmacun was so flavorful and crispy, and the pide was the perfect combination of a soft, chewy crust with delicious toppings. And honestly… that Nutella pide was the perfect way to finish everything! 🇹🇷

📍Daon Korean Cuisine Belleville (500 Cortlandt St, Belleville, NJ 07109). Authentic Korean comfort food made by Oma ❤️ .kc Korean Cuisine is a Korean ghost kitchen in Belleville offering pickup and delivery, and everything arrived packaged SO well- nothing spilled and everything stayed beautifully intact!

🥢 Here’s what I tried:
• Premium Galbi-tang (갈비탕)
• Bulgogi Kimbap (불고기 김밥)
• Japchae (잡채)
• Grilled Korean Short Ribs / LA Galbi (LA 갈비)
• Vegetable Bibimbap (야채 비빔밥)

Everything was packed with care and tasted like the kind of comforting, homemade Korean food you want to keep coming back to.

📍BBQ Extravaganza at Meadowlands Racetrack (East Rutherford, NJ). What a FUN night at the BBQ Extravaganza! I had the absolute pleasure of getting to judge some seriously delicious barbecue in the chicken, pork, brisket, and ribs categories! 🏆

It was so much fun tasting all the different takes on BBQ and seeing the creativity, techniques, and flavors each team brought to the table. And of course, there was also a People’s Choice Award!

We definitely had to hit up some of the food trucks before judging too because… BBQ + food trucks = the perfect combo.

The weather was gorgeous, the vibes were SO much fun, and the perfect way to end the evening was up on the beautiful Meadowlands Racetrack rooftop, taking in those incredible NYC skyline views. 🗽
