📍Salad House (625 Hamburg Tpke, Wayne, NJ 07470). Salad House just opened their newest location in Wayne, and they have SO many fresh and delicious options to choose from!

🦐September Caesar of the month: Big Shrimpin’ Caesar Bowl: a crisp Caesar salad topped with plump, succulent shrimp!

🌯 Chipotle Chicken Wrap: Flavorful, filling and perfect when you want something beyond a salad.

💪🏻Stackers: An 8-ounce soup cup that you can stack with your choice of protein and toppings. They have a HUGE selection! We tried the grilled shrimp with teriyaki.

Crispy Cauliflower Bites: An indulgent, crispy bite that’s perfect for sharing and of course, don’t skip the poppers!

📍Salad House (150 Main St, Hackensack, NJ
07601). I was craving a salad so bad! A fresh Caesar from hit the spot! After a long run, I needed a good post-run refuel, and it was perfect. I tried the Caesar of the Month: a Southwest Caesar loaded with romaine, corn, tomato, tortilla crisps, cilantro, cotija cheese, blackened grilled chicken, and Caesar dressing on the side. I also had the Crispy Buffalo Caesar, and their blue cheese dressing is the perfect dip for the Buffalo Poppers or Buffalo Chicken Caesar. Everything is always so fresh, crisp, and clean here. And if you prefer, you can have your salad tossed with the dressing instead of getting it on the side!

📍Tikka Shack Indian Grub (50 Main St, Hackensack, NJ 07601). It’s Tikka time in Hackensack! .hackensack is serving up flavorful Indian food in a casual, fun atmosphere, and this spot has some seriously creative options.

Some of the things I tried:
🍕 Tikka Pizza: tikka sauce, garlic, fresh mozzarella, red onions, tomatoes and cilantro on a naan crust.

🌮 Naan Taco- Shrimp Coconut Curry: coconut curry shrimp tucked into hand-rolled naan with red cabbage, mango de gallo, onions and cilantro.

🍟 Masala Fries: fries loaded with tikka masala, onions, tomatoes, cilantro and their sweet & spicy secret spices. Add tikka chicken for even more flavor!

🍛 Tikka Masala: a classic that’s always a good idea, with plenty of naan options to pair with it.

🥙 Street-style chaat: packed with those bold, tangy Indian flavors.

And a few things worth knowing: Tikka Shack offers catering and a rewards program, this is their only New Jersey location, and their meat is 100% halal. Tikka Shack

📍Bubbakoo’s Burritos (110 Market St, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663). If you’re looking for a meal that brings ALL the flavors, is the move. Bubbakoo's Burritos

🌯 Birria Crunchstack: slow-braised shredded beef, melty cheese, onions, cilantro and a crispy tostada layer, grilled golden and served with rich consomé for dipping. Crunchy, juicy and seriously satisfying.

🔥 Papi Hibachi Burrito: 4 oz hibachi steak + 4 oz hibachi shrimp with cilantro-lime rice, black beans, pico, sour cream and cheese. Add chipotle crema or General Tso sauce for an extra kick.

🌮 Birria Tacos: three crispy, cheesy tacos loaded with tender birria, cilantro and red onion, plus consomé for dipping.

🥗 Customized Salad Bowl: served in a crispy tortilla shell and completely made your way.

And of course, you can’t forget the mini churros and Boardwalk Cookies for something sweet!
