🐖 Farm-Raised Heritage Pork Available – Limited Supply! 🐖

We currently have a few Gloucestershire Old Spot pigs still available for reservation.

Old Spots are one of the classic old-fashioned heritage pork breeds that are particularly known for well-marbled meat, rich flavor, and excellent eating quality. The GOS tend to carry more intramuscular fat than many of the leaner commercial breeds, which is a big part of what makes Old Spot pork so good.

-Ours are raised here on our homestead in Bergton, VA; outdoors on dirt--just how they like it- with room to roam and root.

-They’re fed a quality ration from our local co-op, along with farm-raised eggs and a variety of fruits and vegetables—including watermelon, cantaloupe, pumpkins, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, lettuce, radishes, and cilantro.

-They’re raised without vaccines and receive plenty of care and attention.

Next week, they’ll be processed at Blue Ridge Meats, a full-service USDA-inspected processor that offers specialized cuts and in-house smoking options.

If the remaining whole pigs aren’t reserved, we plan to offer their pork by the cut after processing is complete. We’ll post what’s available that way once we have it.

If you’re looking to fill your freezer with premium, farm-raised heritage pork, send us a message today.

Pigs are estimated to be 275-325 pounds presently.
