Squabisch will be at Hammerling on Saturday, October 17, 1-5 offering Zwiebelkuchen (German “Onion Cake”. )
Zwiebelkuchen is a popular dish this time of year when the new, partially fermented w**es are released. “FEDERWEISSER “ translates to “Feather White” as the w**e is unfiltered and cloudy with yeast remnants floating about. It is sparkling and acidic and refreshing and tomorrow Hammerling are releasing their 2025 PICPOUL Federweißer made from PICPOUL Blanc grapes. We will also have some pretzels on hand which we feel will pair well with the Federweißer. Hammerling W**es Gilman District Gilman W**e Block
