Summer is flying by and it’s time to start thinking about fungicide. Tar Spot has been confirmed in Southern Wisconsin this week.

Tar spot thrives in hot, moist canopy’s, which has been pretty common the last week. Infection happens two weeks prior to see the physical damage on the leaves.

Crop Protection Network tracks and publishes this useful map to track tar spot. Below is the map from this morning.
