Keep the crew in your thoughts.

We received an update a short while ago.

They've built what fire breaks they can around the farm. Crews have been fighting nearby fires through the night and this morning. It's a big one. Last report was over 5,000 acres, the winds have not been favorable. The roads around the farm are closed.

We do ask that you DO NOT call Andy, all calls may be directed to me (Evan)([email protected]), he is reserving his cell battery, for any critical updates or messages for us.

While I am not overly religious, I do have some faith in me, I do ask if you pray, that you kindly do so.

For:
Our Crew
The families in Brantley County GA
Our Farm
Our Bees

Keep them in your thoughts kindly.

Thank you,
Ev

This photo: was a few days ago when the fire was thought to be contained, before it grew out of control.

P.s.s. To answer a few questions. Yes, we do have a farm in GA its where we winter our bees to avoid the winter at home in the north.

There is a hefty drought here in GA at the moment.

The residents, first responders, and crews are doing incredible work at putting out spot fires while contending with the fire as a whole.

If you are a nearby GA resident, please be safe and consider downloading "Watch Duty" or go to the website to follow the latest evacuation orders and areas of active fire.

"There is no possession more valuable than a good and faithful friend." -Socrates

We lost a good and faithful friend last week. God called Tony home on Saturday. There was nothing Tony couldn't, and wouldn't, do for any of us. We will never forget him. May he rest in peace. ❤️

We are now closed for the 2025 season. What a wonderful harvest! Thank you, everyone for buying our peaches, nectarines, apples, pumpkins, squash and gourds - and donuts! We are grateful for your faithful return year after year. And it was so good to meet so many new friends!

We had very sad family news this summer that we tried to share with as many customers as we could - our son, Thomas (20) died on August 6 from complications of a mitochondrial disease that made his mobility difficult. Most of you would remember Thomas as a quiet presence on the loading dock or on the bench in front greeting friends. He was the core of our family and we miss him beyond measure. It was good for us to share our loss with those of you that we could - especially those of you who have been with us from the beginning. Everyone was so kind in their expressions of sympathy.

We wish you all well and hope you have a restful winter. Give us a shout if you need us. (978) 838-2400.

Sincerely,
Gerard & Sheila Beirne and all the Children
