This is “haying” weather! Papa had a mini-me hanging with him today… and I think his sidekick will be back tomorrow…
Our grandson let us know that he is going to farm the farm when he gets bigger. He doesn’t like small squares so he is going to buy a round baler…
He said he is going to use papa’s tractors though… guess we will teach him how to drive them! ❤️
He even loved the matching hat to protect his head from the sun!

By the grace of God the rain went around us at the farm and haying some of our first cutting has almost been completed! Prayers to hold off for another day or so to get all the hay put away, picked up or delivered!
We really do live in God’s Country!

Spring has sprung… and so has our first (that survived) litter of kittens!! Half the adventure is finding where mama cat has chosen for their home.
Fortunately we had a few loose bales left in the garage where “Tornado” chose for her sanctuary with her five babies.
These babies are just beginning to open their eyes!
I hope they all have their mama’s crazy tail! It is a big puff of fur and curled in a way we have never seen before!
