SAF Produce Co., LLC is a fully integrated fresh produce farm located in Northeastern New York. Located just 25 miles east of Albany, we are ideally situated to serve both local and metropolitan markets
SAF Produce Co., LLC (Sustainable Aqua Farms) is committed to producing the Highest Quality Leafy and Romaine lettuce in the market place. Our growing system employs 125,000 square ft. of Hi-Tech, Deep Water Culture, Hydroponic Growing ponds within a 13 Pond Greenhouse that has 3.25 acres under roof.
We produce multiple Little Gem lettuce varieties specifically selected for hardiness and unique taste in a controlled environment, under strict bio-security protocols. We employ integrated pest management practices as an economic means to suppress pest populations.
Our facility also includes a germination room, nursery, packing and printing line, and cold storage cooler.
