Hay day is a family affair. ❤️
I couldn’t be prouder or more grateful for our sons. There’s something pretty special about working side by side as a family, getting the farm ready for the winter ahead.
Today we unloaded 320 bales of hay! 💪🌾 Next up… straw!
Family is precious, and so is the time we get to spend together. These are the moments I’ll always treasure. ❤️

left Apollo some fresh hay we got today, and apparently it was way too good to eat politely! 😂🌾 He must have loved it so much he stuck his entire face right into it! 🤣

Hermes is slow-moving… until he sees Mom! 😂❤️ The second he hears she has treats, suddenly that 400+ lbs of love can move pretty fast! 🐂💨
Treats, Mom, and Hermes—apparently that’s all it takes to get this handsome boy motivated! ❤️❤️

Such a quiet, peaceful night to watch the near-total lunar eclipse. 🌙✨

The crickets are chirping, the animals are all bedded down and sleeping, and everything is still. There’s something so special about standing here, taking it all in, and realizing just how blessed I am to have this view. ❤️🌙

Sometimes the simplest moments are the most beautiful. ✨

The dogs and I picked corn especially for Hermes, but apparently we were taking WAY too long! 😂🌽
Hermes had absolutely ZERO patience. He wanted his corn, and he wanted it NOW! 😂🐂🌽❤️
When you’re a handsome boy, waiting for your fresh corn just isn’t an option! 😆

Hermes is learning to tolerate Hobbs, but he’s not always a morning person when it comes to those kisses! 😂❤️
Hobbs still needs to understand that Hermes is a BIG boy and those kisses need to come with a little more personal space. 🤣🐶🐂
They’re figuring each other out one morning at a time. ❤️

Today is all about getting some winterizing projects done around the farm! 🍂🔨 Apollo, our ram, was on duty as the official supervisor… until he decided the job was exhausting and took a little nap. 😂🐏💤
Even the best supervisors need a break! ❤️
