While we enjoy summer we are really looking forward to apple and pear harvest. Many of our trees are loaded with developing fruit. Hope is high. The black raspberry plants are also loaded and will be ripe in a couple weeks.

Also we baked some more Rhubarb spice cake, with lemon cream cheese frosting. It's so good!

Yesterday sure was a taste of summer. We went over 80° and humid. It appears many of our fruit trees, that were covered in blossoms, are setting fruit quite prolifically. Our 50 new raspberry plants also look to be vigorous and showing potential for a good harvest. Looking forward to a great summer.
