A little off topic but definitely relevant to farming, we work hard to cultivate seeds in baggies in the spring and carefully plant sunflowers along the barn in the spring. You can see how well that turned out. Meanwhile they spontaneously blossom in a beautiful bouquet against a cold grey backdrop. As they say, Mother Nature laughs at our labors and does what she wants anyway. Happy Labor day everyone!
