Ok y'all I need some help... hubby has laid down the law that I'm not to be shearing/fitting club lambs at least until after the baby is born (with good reason). Is there anyone interested in being hired to help me out?

I have 3 December club lambs that need sheared NOW and then a good pre-show clip for Souder Stock Clinic & Jackpot in a few weeks. I can still fit legs, etc so it's just body shearing that I need help with!

Yesterday marked our 4th (‼️) year bringing lambs to Ag Week at Tilden Elementary, and somehow it just keeps getting more special every single year!

We brought along Bert and Ernie (Rowan's market lambs) as well as Johnny Cash and Wynona for a mix of club lambs and Katahdins - and a good variety of colors! We couldn't get over how much Bert LOVED all the attention!

Rowan had outpatient surgery on Wednesday, so he took it easy for most of the visit and did plenty of sitting and resting, but he absolutely loved seeing all of his friends and teachers and soaking up the excitement from the day!

And Sis completely stole the show! She gave each class such an excellent lesson about the lambs - teaching the kids how we care for them, explaining the difference between wool sheep and hair sheep, and answering some truly terrific questions from the students. Watching her confidently teach and interact with everyone made us SO proud. She definitely has a future in livestock judging, teaching, or both 🩵

We can't thank Sherry Fuhrmann enough for putting this wonderful day together and for inviting us back this year! She is such an incredible woman and ag advocate!
