We are officially open for a short season. We have a great selection of butternut and acorn squash, plus an assortment of pumpkins. I've been pretty busy building the house, so I've been slow to get the harvest picked and the stand up. We will only have the stand at the farm open this year at 8576 S. Scottdale Rd.

The harvest is ongoing….this is only a small portion of the crop, but enough to stock our displays. We also have a stand with the same items at 2025 Yore Avenue, 49022, one mile south of Lake Michigan College.

The stand is in operation with a first picking. We will add more choices in the next week.

I hope to have the stand up in a couple weeks and start offering u-pick flowers. The squash and pumpkins are coming along nicely, but will be a while. We are offering a wider selection of sizes and types this year.

The squash and pumpkins are coming along. This year we will offer u-pick flowers starting sometime in August.

The field is planted with an initial laborious watering to make sure things get started. This year features 8 rows of 8 colors of zinnias, plus some other flowers. Should be quite a show and expecting to offer U-pick flowers by early August.

Also the usual squash and pumpkins, including some new varieties. I also have a second half acre field at my office planted with squash and pumpkins so they don’t cross. Just a few more rows to plant back by the woods and then cultivating and disease tending.

Ready for the main harvest to begin. Open for U-pick, 10am-4pm, Saturday, September 26. The weather looks perfect for a family outing.

Come and visit our self-service farm stand. We have quality pumpkins, butternut squash, acorn squash, delicata squash, gourds, and our special "pink" pumpkins. Open 24/7.
