The vineyard has absolutely exploded in growth this last week. The sunny days, rain showers, and warm temperatures has pushed shoot growth into over driver and has jump started bloom!
Each individual grape starts as a single flower part of the inflorescence, or cluster of flowers, that make up the grape bunch. Each of these flowers is self-pollinated and eventually mature to full grapes ready to make wine by fall!

Its a beautiful time to visit the wineries so stop out and see us any day from 12 to 6 pm ET!

This Memorial Day weekend is perfect for library tastings and live music!
We will be featuring our 2008 Cabernet Franc, 2015 Syrah, and 2011 Crown of Cabernet in our tasting room this Friday through Monday.
Sunday is Unwind in the Vines, live music in our backyard from 3 to 6 pm by Janet Leyard and Mike Ault.

Its Friday and we're in love with our new release 2022 Crown of Cabernet! A Bordeaux style blend of 45% Merlot, 31% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot, and 3% Malbec. Aged for 24 months in French Oak with rich flavors of dark plum, black currant and cedar, this red is perfect paid with a steak dinner or a relaxing night at home.
