Come and See Farm Come and See Farm is committed to sustainable agriculture and creating a setting for children who are challenged by traditional learning environments.

Goals and Objectives
Our goal is to offer hands-on farming opportunities to children challenged in a traditional learning environment. The farm will operate using sustainable, environmentally - friendly agricultural practices. Business Philosophy
Our guiding philosophy is: to care for the earth, care for people, and fairly distribute the surplus of our labors. This is a non-profit corporation. We have ten acres of overgrown farmland. We will bring it back into production with the assistance and input of children and youth with special learning needs.

Neisun, Pal, Fergie, Snort and Christine the pig would love to snack on your Christmas tree if you would like to drop it off at the barn. If you would like to say hello you can drive out to the barn. They love visitors. Donations roadside are also welcome.

This year we were awarded a USDA SARE (Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education) Youth Educator Grant. We created a Leader-in-Training group for the Bridgman Elementary Garden Club. We began meeting during the last half of the school year and have 2 one week sessions of camp for our group. We are learning about the principles of Sustainable Agriculture and what it means to be a student leader. Look for a future post on the principles, but for now enjoy some photos of our first week of camp.
