On this Veteran’s Day weekend I look back at my family’s service time with a full heart. Our family’s veteran just happens to be my best friend, my husband and a wonderful father!!
He puts his family before himself in every situation. If that means sacrificing his wants for their needs he does it. It also means that he will risk his life trying to protect them if that scenario ever arises. He is the type of husband & father that actually operates with this kind of mindset everyday & will never do anything with the intention of hurting his family. My veteran holds his family in the faith of God and will never turn his back on us or God. Thank you Jeremy Morris for your service not only to your country but to your family and to our Christian faith.

Serenity Saviors Equine Rescue and Therapy Center is in urgent need of a knowledgeable, local volunteer to take a look at our older electric golf cart that we need to feed our large herd!

We are also in need of a volunteer to bush hog about 10 acres (with their machine) or let us borrow your machine for a day. If the volunteer(s) need community service or volunteer hours for any reason, we would be happy to sign off for those.

We are a 501c3 charity located near Tharptown, just outside of Russellville, Alabama. Please DM to assist as we may not see comments.

To round out our day, why not just head on to Tennessee and pick up Ole’Clyde a months worth of alfalfa. (Some days he shares a little snack of it with the other horses, goats & chickens 😆)

Clyde the Gentle Giant got a good scrubbing today. He is one of 2 rescues we care for on our farm. Clyde is such a wonderful horse and 100% deserves a happy life. He came to us and was diagnosed with Equine Metabolic Disorder (basically horse diabetes), foundered on his front left, and ring bone on his front right. We have had him just under 3 months and he is now enjoying a diet of only alfalfa hay, takes his insulin medication like a champ and is even running around at times. His hooves are 100% better from the 1st time we ever saw him and he will in the near future be used as a way to teach the importance of proper hoof care as well as diet and will be a great pasture companion for our other rescue. 🥰

Jeremy just out rescuing a wild goose that got a little to nosey with the silky chickens. It was very happy to be free once he was untangled.

Happy Tuesday! This boot is made for walking and horse bathing, grooming, feeding, and grand baby playing 😂 I have had an amazing experience with Dr Pitt’s (Andrew’s Sports) doing my ankle surgery and with my regular doctor’s office (Dr Yerby and his whole crew) making sure everything is good and my wonderful church family at Philadelphia checking on me and dropping off goodies to snack on. My next step is working with the great crew at Encore in Fayette so I can work on actually bending my ankle 😀
