Greetings from the farm! Today we drove to Iowa to get our new ram, a Wiltshire. As the market for breeding sheep is drying up, we are switching to meat sheep and he will add bulk to our lanky St. Croix, thus producing a superior product. His name is Chester, and all 6 rams are squished together for a couple of days so they get used to each other without injuries🤗

Greetings! Here is a sample of the girls that are for sale. There are Barred Rocks, White Rocks, Easter Eggers, Olive Eggers, Welsummers, Cinnamon Queen hybrids and some barnyard specials. The 16mo olds are $15 each; the 10mo olds are $25 each.

Good evening! Thanks to the help of family we were able to move the chickens from the mobile on pasture to their winter housing! A hearty thank you to Andrew, Josiah, Caleb and Michelle for making this job sooooo much easier🤗 we moved 128 chickens; tomorrow is going to be a rough day as they get used to their new roommates!

For anyone interested in silver fox rabbits, I am reducing my colony over the next 3 days. If you want a great deal on a 2yr old breeder, they are only $25 each. Today I will be processing the 3-4 month olds and the next 2 days the breeding stock, so act quickly!
