About us

Harvue Farms was established in 1949 by John Hardesty and his son, Jack. Today, our farm is managed by Jack’s son, David, and his son, Matt, along with their families. Matt and his wife, Ashley, have two young children, James and Lily, who make the fifth generation on the farm. Our family milks 350 registered Holsteins and farms 650 acres of land. We are dedicated to our animals and this is reflected in the quality milk they produce. We have received the highest quality premium for our milk for ten consecutive years from Maryland & Virginia Milk Cooperative. It is our commitment to high quality milk that has created high quality cheese which we are proud to offer to our community.
