Just stir-fried some red and orange bell peppers. I have only had peppers from the grocery store before. The sweet flavor of these peppers makes me want to plant a whole garden next year. Yum. Thanks Chilly Hollow Farm. I'd share a picture, but I ate them already.

Many customers have asked if we will open again. While this is not likely, if it does happen it will not be in the immediate future.
However, we strongly recommend continuing support of local agriculture so that we can maintain a strong local supply chain.
To that end, please consider buying organic fruit from Fin Irene Farm (Claggets), Vegetables from Chilly Hollow Farm, Vegetables from Rosie Hill and Sherry Acuesta Baldovino for garlic and herbs and other remedies.
Also keep in mind Jordan Green for your meat needs (Edinburg), Jordan is probably one of the most stable local food source and we highly encourage using his familyโs farm to feed yours!

As a young farm with a CSA, the competition can feel daunting.
But it shouldnโt. Weโre not in competition with our fellow farmers. Weโre in competition with a broken food system.
Each CSA that takes up the baton is another champion against a way of eating that threatens both environment and culture. Some farms produce everything themselves. Others collaborate with small farms nearby. Still more draw together farms throughout Virginia, connecting them to buyers.
On our farm, we use a collaborative model. Much of our produce is grown on-site, and we also feature produce and other foodstuffs from other local farms.
Our approaches may vary, but our goal unites us: we believe in a better future defined by honest food production and genuine human connection.
Maybe you want to join a CSA, but our model isnโt the right fit for you: Delivery may not work for your location. Our delivery schedules might not line up. We don't deliver to your region. Youโre looking for a farm that grows everything on-site.
Whatever your reasons, if our CSA isnโt the right fit for you, keep up the search. Here are a few local CSAs doing their part in supporting our foodweb:
- Potomac Vegetable Farms, Purcellville
- Chilly Hollow Farm, Berryville
- Immortal Mountain, Front Royal
- Lost Corner Farm, Leesburg
- Willowsford Farm, Ashburn
- Kin Food DC, Washington D.C.
- 4P Foods, Warrenton
- Hidden Creek Farm LLC, Delaplane

Loved seeing fresh arugla and kale from Chilly Hollow Farm. at Neighbors: A Local Market (formerly For Goodness Sake) in Leesburg. The arugula was divine. Everything is so much better when itโs local and fresh. Neighbors carries my favorite type of Gluten Free bread too (Sami's Bakery)โฆjust a few ingredients and no tapoica, corn, or other fillers!!!

Empanadas! (Or simply hand pies)
Chilly Hollow collards, onion, garlic, and sweet potatoes, Harvue Cheese jalapeno cheddar, Oak Hart Farm black beans. And I cheated with some Pillsbury crust. Glazed with Bre Bogert egg!
Update: I've eaten 4 of the "ugly" ones do far.
Enjoying some beautiful time with COOKWITHCHAN at a local farmerโs market in Berryville!! Itโs always a great idea to meet your local farmers and get to know where your food comes from.
Buying from your local farmers supports your local economy and provides healthier foods because produce has less transit time and less breakdown of immune supporting vitamins & minerals.
