🐑🎨 A Little Art, a Little History, and Some Farm Inspiration!

Looking for something fun and a little different to do this Saturday?

We're excited to welcome Paula Roberts of Dip Into Art, LLC back to Clermont Farm on Saturday, October 24th, from 2–4 PM for a special afternoon of painting inspired by the sheep here at Clermont! ❤️

This isn't your typical painting class! You'll use acrylic paints, palette knives, and modeling paste to create a charming mother-and-lamb painting, adding texture and dimension to bring your artwork to life.

And here's something that makes this workshop extra special — the painting is inspired by an actual photograph taken right here at Clermont Farm!

Never painted before? No worries! Paula will guide you through the entire process, your canvas will already be outlined, and all materials are included. Just come ready to have a little fun and get creative!

Our popular haunted history tours are back! The walking tour will begin at the offices of the Clarke County Historical Association and then will travel to various locations throughout Downtown Berryville. This year we've partnered with the The Goldberg School of Music to create an updated experience with some new ghost stories!

Arrive at CCHA early for a chance to explore the latest Museum exhibit. Comfortable walking shoes and flashlights are recommended. Be sure to sign up soon as these tours fill up quickly. Maximum of 30 people per time slot.

Another successful round of Triangle Days is in the books! 🍂

We were so happy to welcome Clarke County's 4th graders back to Clermont Farm this year for two days of learning, exploring, and a little hands-on history!

Our young visitors got to step into the world of archaeology and historic preservation, discovering how we uncover clues from the past and why it's so important to protect the history around us. 🏡🔎

There were lots of curious minds, great questions, and plenty of enthusiasm along the way!

A big thank you to everyone who helped make these two days possible. We always love having the next generation of history lovers out at Clermont! ❤️

🍂 Clermont FarmFest: Take 2! 🚜🍁

We know how many of you were looking forward to Sunday's Native Plant Sale & FarmFest, and believe us, we were just as disappointed to cancel due to the hurricane rain! So much work and excitement went into this year's event, and we truly hated not being able to share it with you.

After careful consideration, we've made the difficult decision that we simply can't recreate our Native Plant Sale this year.

But we aren't quite ready to let fall at Clermont pass us by! ❤️

We still want to welcome our community and share some of the experiences we were so excited to offer!

This Saturday, October 17th, we're opening our gates from 11 AM–3:30 PM for a little FarmFest fun!

🚜 11:30 AM – Wagon Ride

🏡 1:30 PM – Historic Tour of Clermont

🚜 2:30 PM – Wagon Ride

🍎 Hot apple c***r and 🎃 pumpkins will also be available while supplies last!

Our wagon rides were making their debut this year, and we heard from so many of you who couldn't wait to explore more of Clermont's working farm. We didn't want you to miss out!

❤️ Everything will be offered by donation!

Our Native Plant Sale & FarmFest is our largest event of the year, and the support it brings makes a tremendous difference for Clermont. Losing it was a tough blow, but we're hoping to turn that disappointment into a beautiful fall afternoon with our community.

Heading to Lucketts Fall Market at the Fairgrounds? We're just down the road at the other end of Main Street! Stop by afterward!

As Bob Stieg, CEO of The Clermont Foundation, put it:

"No big festival, no elaborate plans. Just Clermont in her fall beauty, a little history, a wagon ride through the farm, and a chance to spend some time together." 🍁

🎃 25 wagons. A whole lot of pumpkins. And absolutely no control over the weather. 😂

Just a little sneak peek at what's been showing up at Clermont this week!

We've got a beautiful assortment of pumpkins that will be available for donations to support the farm, and 25 Radio Flyer wagons ready to help you haul away your plant-shopping decisions. 🌿

And since Mother Nature apparently has some opinions about our plans for Sunday, consider this your friendly reminder to dress for the occasion!

☔ Umbrellas? Yep.
🥾 Rain boots? Absolutely.
🧥 Rain jackets? Probably a good idea.
🌱 Room in your garden for more plants? You'll figure it out.

🌧️ Rain or Shine, FarmFest is ON!

Well, it looks like Mother Nature has decided to make an appearance at this year's FarmFest, and apparently she's bringing her own watering can. 😂

We're keeping an eye on the forecast and making a few adjustments to move some vendors into more sheltered spots so everyone can stay as dry as possible.

But here's the thing... the plants LOVE the rain! 🌱

So dust off those rain boots, grab an umbrella, and come on out to Clermont Farm this Sunday, October 11th, from 9 AM–3 PM!

We've got a fantastic lineup of vendors, demonstrations, activities, and plenty of reasons to come spend the day with us.

A little rain isn't going to ruin our fun. We are a farm, after all! 💚🍂
