Experienced Barn Help Needed – Berthoud & Boulder Locations
We are a large, active horse show barn with a strong youth and amateur-friendly program.
We’re hiring two part-time barn assistants:
📍 Berthoud, CO (flexible start, must cover afternoons):
This role is heavily focused on c**t starting and working with young, green horses, along with handling stallions (all well-behaved with proper handling). Duties include turnout, grooming, riding, lunging, tacking, and lesson prep.
Show opportunities available for the right fit, including travel, horse and tack prep, and assisting with setup and teardown at shows.
📍 Boulder, CO (morning position):
Mare barn position with duties including grooming, tacking, lunging, turnout, riding and helping with young/baby horses.
Across both barns, we work with a variety of breeds and ride both Western (primarily) and English.
Requirements:
* Prior horse experience is a must
* Must be 18+
* Must be comfortable lifting 50 lbs
* Confident, capable handler with a solid skill set
* Strong people skills and the ability to work well with youth and amateur clients
For safety, these are experienced-handler roles—this is not a learning position.
