Well, I’ve been to a few distilleries in my travels, and I’ve got to say… Rock Town Distillery knocked this one out of the park!

Our tour was, without a doubt, the best distillery tour we’ve done so far. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable, entertaining, and just plain fun to listen to. You could tell he wasn’t just reciting information—he genuinely knew his stuff and enjoyed sharing the Rock Town story with us.

And then they let me bottle and label my own bottle of bourbon! Now, that’s right up my alley. There’s just something about doing it yourself that makes that bottle a whole lot more special. Of course, it also means I now have another bottle of bourbon I have to find a good excuse to open.

The tasting room is beautifully decorated and has a great vibe. We settled in and enjoyed an Old Fashioned and an Aries cocktail, and both were excellent.

And because I apparently can’t visit a distillery without turning it into a culinary research project, I brought home a bottle of Basil Vodka and Blueberry Lemon. I’ve already got the chef wheels turning, and I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of trouble I can get into with those at The Salty Flipper.

That’s what I love about places like Rock Town. It’s not just about making a good spirit. It’s about craftsmanship, creativity, hospitality, and creating something that makes you want to take it home and do something with it.

If you’re in Little Rock, do yourself a favor and stop by Rock Town Distillery. Take the tour, have a cocktail, talk to the folks there, and enjoy the experience.

For this chef, it was definitely five stars and worth the stop!
