It's that time of year again! 🙃🙂Yeah!!!!
I will be able to pick fresh tomatoes next Saturday August 15th. I will be meeting everyone at Target in McCalla that evening at 645pm. If available I will try to get other veggies but I know for sure I will be able to get red and green tomatoes. Please let me know by this Friday if you would like some and how many of each kind. The cost this year is $13/box. 🍅 You can pay on delivery that day. Thanks.

Good morning everyone! We will be going back for another load of tomatoes this Thursday and we will continue to go every Thursday until the season runs out. I will be meeting at Target McCalla @ 6:30 pm and also Saturday at 9am. I had to increase the price to $12/box because we have to pay $2 for each box. If you all would like to bring your boxes back I can give you $1 off the price and we will reuse those and save us all some $ I am in the process of checking with the Farmers that I know to see what kind of deals we can get on loads of other fresh produce. I'll be checking for squash, okra, cucumbers, peas, beans, watermelon, cantaloupe and other fruit. Let me know if you are interested in anything else. When we can all buy together in bulk it saves us all money. 😊 Thanks yall!

Is there anyone interested in buying a box or boxes of fresh tomatoes for $10 each? I can get a load of freshly picked tomatoes (not hot house, these are ones that I will pick fresh off the vine from the farm). But I need to take pre-orders and I will need a $5 deposit for pre-orders first and then $5 on delivery per box ($10 box total) Delivery would be Thursday/Friday of this week. If we have enough people wanting them I will be glad to go get a truck load. Just checking first to see... please let me know if you would like some.

Go by the Hopewell Produce Stand and get you some delicious fresh veggies and fruit! I did yesterday and cooked fresh green beans, fried green tomatoes and okra, and fresh red tomatoes. It was delicious! They are open today so go by and get yours.

Farm Fresh, Local Produce will be at the Grace Life Orphans Craft Fair tomorrow, Sat. Oct 8th from 9am till 2pm! We will have lots of our canned items from jams & jellies to pickles and salsa, peanut brittle, pound cakes, hairbows, crochet dresses and beanies and more for sale. The Craft Fair will be held at McAdory Elementary School.

Even though I am no longer operating in the same location, I still have produce and lots of canned items at a discounted price. Jams/Jellies $3, Pickles, Salsa, Chow Chow, Peppers and ect $4. Boxes and baskets of tonatoes, bell pepper, and cucumber $2-$9. I have pear preserves and pear honey also! Message me if you need anything and I can meet you with it.

The Produce Stand has fresh purple hull peas, speckled butteebeans, green butterbeans, peaches, red and green tomatoes, sweet vidala onions, cantaloupe, watermelons (red and yellow) okra, cherry tomatoes, bell pepper, squash and figs.
New this week in our freshly canned items are fig with strawberry jelly, fig jelly, fig preserves and sweet vidala marmalade .. We have a fresh batch of pickles and cowboy candy (candied jalapenos )

The Produce Stand has fresh purple hull peas, speckled butteebeans, green butterbeans, peaches, red and green tomatoes, sweet vidala onions, cantaloupe, watermelons (red and yellow) okra, cherry tomatoes, bell pepper, squash and figs.

I always love coming across communities built on supporting local farmers and fresh all-natural produce. I've been trying to get out and be more supportive of local and community culture, but recent events have left me mostly indoors. I recently came across a trailer for a new Netflix Documentary called Kiss the Ground that released a few days ago on the 22nd. The film is directed and produced by Josh and Rebecca Tickell who are known for their films that focus on environmental issues. Their newest film focuses on how regenerative farming can be used to heal our planet and reverse the effects of climate change. The film is one of the only climate change documentaries I've seen that centers on such a hopeful and uplifting message, leaving me with a sense of hope that there is still something we can do to help save our planet. The film is narrated by Woody Harrelson and also includes a number of celebrity appearances such as Jason Mraz and Ian Somerhalder. I was completely adsorbed in the film and learning more about how I can make a change to help save our planet! The trailer was incredibly thought provoking and insightful, I just had to see the full film.
