We were disappointed that we couldn't make it to the Fayetteville History Museum - City Market at the Museum this weekend! But, we will be back on the 28th, assuming the weather is good enough! Keep an eye out for updates, because even if the weather isnt right, we will still have plenty of mushrooms available for delivery that weekend!

Did you know that one of the best ways to preserve your uncooked mushrooms is to dehydrate them? Cracker dry mushrooms can be stored almost indefinitely as long as they stay dry! To use them, simply let them soak in water to rehydrate! They will then be perfect to use in soups and stews! The soaking water even become a great mushroom broth!

We had a great day at the Fayetteville History Museum - City Market at the Museum BUT we have a bunch of Lions Mane left this week! We will be back at the Fayetteville History Museum - City Market at the Museum, in downtown Fayetteville tomorrow, Saturday January 7th! We will have a limited selection for tomorrow but we are excited to get back into the market season. Come and check us out, we will be there from 9am til 1pm!

Our family here at Cape Fear Mushrooms wants to wish everyone a Happy and Wonderful New Year!

2022 has been extremely difficult, hence why we had to take a bit of a break this year, but we are optimistic about the coming year and the future ahead. We are looking to grow substantially this year and we need you, our amazing community, to help us get there! Without our generous customers we would have never been able to get this far.

The pictures in the slide show are of some of our awesome Blue Oysters, from young primordia to mature mushrooms. Like the first picture, our business is still in its infancy. We are striving to grow and mature into a strong staple within the community so that we can continue to offer you guys the very best.

We have a lot in store for 2023 but we cant do it without you! We will be resuming local markets in the next few weeks so stay tuned for the dates. We hope to see you guys there!

Our website is ready to rock and roll and we are also all set up to take orders directly from the site. We even offer delivery! Currently we are delivering orders ourselves but we are looking to partner with some carrier services to allow on demand delivery so we can offer you more convenient delivery times.

We are also looking to expand our commercial and restaurant sales. If anyone has a favorite restuarant they feel could benefit from our delicious, healthy mushrooms, let us know! We would love to hear y'alls feedback and recommendations!

We are back!!! Its been WAY too long! We had to take an extended break but after several setbacks and unfortunate occurrences, we are back in business!

We are on track to have our first harvest around 12/10 and every week thereafter. Our first couple harvest will be limited but we should be capable of running at full capacity by the end of the year.

We will be taking orders online starting with our 12/10 harvest. Orders can be placed directly through our website once we have everything weighed out. Again, our first couple harvest will be limited so keep an eye out for our updates because it will be first come, first serve!
