🍓 That’s a Wrap on Strawberry Season! 🍓

Our 2026 Pick-Your-Own strawberry season has officially come to an end. There are no more Pick-Your-Own strawberries or pre-picked berries available in the farm store!

🙏 Thank you to everyone who visited the patch this year! As only our second year growing strawberries, we’re incredibly grateful for the support from our community.

While the late April freeze shortened the season, it also taught us a lot. Every season is a learning experience, and we’re already looking ahead to how we can continue improving and growing even better strawberries.

Thank you for making our second strawberry season such a success. We’ll be back with more strawberries in 2027! 🍓❤️

Summer at the farm is just getting started! Over the coming weeks, our fields will be producing even more fruits and vegetables, and we’ll continue filling the farm store with the best locally grown products from our farm and other nearby farms. We can’t wait to share the rest of the season with you!

🌿 Fresh from the Field! 🫛🍓

We’re harvesting more every day!

Fresh-picked snow peas, sugar snap peas, shelling peas, and basil, parsley, dill, and sage are now available in the farm store. Picked by hand and brought straight to our farm store - fresh doesn’t get much fresher than that! Rosemary and thyme coming soon. Our own lettuces and escarole also still coming in 👍

As we move into the heart of the growing season, even more fruits and vegetables will be arriving in the weeks ahead!

🍓 Pick-Your-Own Strawberry Update
We’re back open for light picking! It is the end of the season, so the berries are smaller and you’ll have to do a bit more searching - but there are still ripe berries to be found.

If you’ve been hoping to make one last trip to the patch, now is the time. We do not expect to have Pick-Your-Own available this weekend.

🕒 Farm Store Hours
Monday–Friday: 10am–6pm
Saturday: 9am–6pm
Sunday: 10am–5pm

We hope to see you at the farm! 🍓🌱

🍓 Strawberry Patch CLOSED Today 🍓

Our Pick-Your-Own strawberry patch will be CLOSED today after an incredible weekend that saw us get picked out of berries!

Thank you to everyone who came out to pick. We had an amazing turnout, and we’re so grateful for the support.

There’s a chance we’ll be able to open the patch one more day this week, depending on how many berries ripen over the next few days and if it’s worthwhile picking.

If you’re hoping to make one last trip to the patch, we recommend calling or sending us a message before heading out so we can let you know the latest picking conditions.

As only our second year offering Pick-Your-Own strawberries, we’re incredibly grateful for the support you’ve shown us. Thank you for making this strawberry season such a success—we’re already looking forward to next year! 🍓❤️

🍓 It looks like this will be our final Pick-Your-Own weekend of the season! 🍓

There are still strawberries out there—you’ll just have to do a little more searching than you did a week ago. The berries that are left are beautiful, and with today’s sunshine and comfortable weather, it’s a great day to be out in the patch.

If you’ve been meaning to make one last strawberry picking trip, today is likely your best opportunity.

Depending on how many pickers we have today, we may be able to extend Pick-Your-Own into the beginning of next week, but we’ll have to see how the fields look after today and will keep everyone updated.

🍓 $6.50/lb
🍓 Containers included

🎟 Weekend Admission
• $4 per person
• $12 family admission (up to 5 people)
• Children 2 and under are free

Thank you for making our second strawberry season such a memorable one. We hope to see you in the patch one last time! 🍓

🍓 Dinner with Deb: Low Sugar Freezer Jam!

It’s still strawberry season! Deb’s making the easiest low sugar freezer jam you’ll ever try. Pick-your-own season doesn’t last forever, but strawberry season in your freezer can. ❤️

And if you’re Team Chunky Jam…there’s no need to break out the food processor. 😉

Deb’s Tips:
🍓Start with 1 QUART of room-temperature strawberries (the pectin activates faster!)
🍓You can’t skimp on the mixing because the pectin has to activate and dissolve.
Small containers stack easily and make it simple to grab just what you need.
🍓Do not refrigerate until after 24 hours of it sitting on your counter, covered. If you check it after 10 or 12 hours and the fruit is still loose and is rising, you can stir and seal it back up.
🍓Once you thaw it, you can store it in the fridge for a couple weeks.

🍓 Fresh strawberry season is temporary. Toast season is forever. No canning and no complicated equipment! Just fresh strawberries and a little patience.

It’s a surreal feeling.

Thirty years ago, I was the kid riding on this old Ferguson TO-35 with my dad.

Today, my daughter is.

The tractor has gotten older. So have I.

But some traditions stay the same. ❤️

🥬 What does truly fresh lettuce look like?

One of the biggest differences between lettuce harvested fresh from the field and lettuce that has spent days traveling and sitting on store shelves is what you see in this video.

Our romaine is harvested right here at Clover Nook Farm and brought directly into the farm store. No cross-country trip. No sitting in distribution warehouses. Just fresh, local lettuce picked at its peak.

In addition to romaine, we’re also harvesting Buttercrunch, loose leaf varieties, and more as the season gets underway.

Stop by and taste the difference fresh-picked can make! 🥬
