Today’s is one I’d had my eyes on for a long time and was able to recruit him to ND this past summer. Raised by Little Cedar Shorthorns in Beaverton, MI and later purchased by McKenzie Ranch, Odessa, FL, Look Ahead 2306 (*x4357473) was in the hunt at Louisville 2 years back when I was there…and from the pic below you can probably see why! Currently in CSS Protocol for Australian and Canadian Export, Look Ahead combines structure and look in an appealing pedigree package, all the while remaining moderate in his design and built for the long haul. We have 25 calves coming by Look Ahead at JSF next spring and couldn’t be more excited! Keystone Shorthorns in WI recently purchased walking rights. On the 25th Annual Great Shorthorn Revival Sale tomorrow in MI, 13 of the 79 lots carry his get or service! We currently have sxd and conventional on hand with Australian and Canadian qualified semen expected soon. Remember, the future belongs to those who create it… . . .

Extraordinary February outcross Margie sells Saturday at the Great Shorthorn Revival.

Solitaire × Equator. Results. 🎯

She’s the first daughter of JSF Solitaire 250L to sell, and we couldn’t be happier with what we’re seeing from him. Her dam is one of our favorite young cows, combining the look and style of the Margie cow family with the depth and maternal power of Equator.

His first calves look awesome — Explosive show ring presence with clean, pretty fronts-ends and thick, powerful rear quarters.

He is a great outcross option to complement Red Knight and Perfection genetics.

You don’t see many Kilmilhills these days… but when you do, they’ll make you look twice ✅

We partnered on her dam with Vaughn Farms because she fit our motto of investing in great people and cattle. She’s the kind that just works—sound, functional, no holes.

The Kilmilhill cow family has endured for decades across three continents. This heifer carries that tradition forward—deep bodied, bold, good looking, and built to last.

And she’s puppy dog gentle 😊
