The cover feature was a complete surprise! This was a beautiful August DIY wedding. The couple ordered just a bridal bouquet and ceremonial garlands and lots of buckets of flowers. All the flowers were perfectly matched to the Brides wedding saree.

The other feature was a Q&A featuring beautiful photos of high summer wedding flowers! The cover photo is of a plein air wedding in July 2025. Such a dreamy day!

It won’t be long before we see scenes like this! A couple quick updates for the farm!

We are looking for help of all kinds for the upcoming growing and wedding season!

1-We have a stacked and absolutely beautiful season of weddings scheduled. I’m looking for day-of freelance help (mostly Saturdays). Freelancers can work as many or as few weekends as they’d like. The main requirement is dependability, an eye for detail, and the ability to work a long day on your feet.

2- There are a handful of very busy wedding weekends I’m looking for design help the days leading up to the weekend. This person would have some floral design experience and an eye for detail.

3- We are looking for part time farm help beginning in the spring and extending into fall. Ideally 16-20 hours a week. The schedule would be very flexible and can be consolidated into a couple long days, or broken up across the week. The work would include seeding, prepping beds, planting, harvesting, weeding and end of season bed cleaning. Gardening experience is preferred.

4-We are looking for very part time childcare for our 4 year old during summer vacation (early June through late August). Anywhere from 4-8 hours a week!

There is enough work someone could make a full time seasonal job out of the farm and wedding work, or could break the work up between several different people. We are flexible! Pay ranges from $15-25/hour depending on experience.

Thanks for considering!!

White and yellow was one of the most popular color combos of 2025. It’s so fresh and summery and utilizes local flowers beautifully.

More details from F+G’s wedding where they paired long farm tables, white and yellow flowers, petite compotes, kenza bowls and bud vases. Combined with candles and table wine, their wedding was effortlessly elegant. Also- how cute is the addition of vine tomatoes!?

A magical August event…
F+G had a distinct vision for their wedding, held at the beautiful Adair Inn. Yellows and white were the main color scheme, with touches of peach and lots of greenery. The final result felt like a blend of a Tuscan dinner party, vintage 60’s fun, and Kennedy elegance. We chose all white sweet peas for a statement bridal bouquet (all farm grown!) and local flowers were highlighted throughout the entire design. More pics to come!

A few more from this dreamy June wedding that was all about peonies! The blooms were highlighted by delicate farm grown poppies, feverfew, astilbe and garden roses. I loved how the wicker basket vases complemented the mix and match china. It was such a ln enchanting and thoughtful event!

Ps- June 2026 brides! There’s only one weekend left open in June for florist services. Reach out soon! Xo
