It's finally back! We are super excited to have some raw milk back at the house again. Last time I made a post about this someone lost their mind. Guess we see how much that has changed.

She's standing. 🐄
For those who've been following along — she did it.
We've been working around the clock trying to get our cow back on her feet. It took patience, a tractor assist, and a whole lot of stubbornness (from both of us, honestly). But today she stood up on her own.
Homesteading isn't always pretty. Sometimes it's mud and worry and not knowing. But days like this remind us exactly why we do it.
Thank you to everyone who checked in, sent messages, and kept us going. Sleepy Fox Farms wouldn't be the same without this community. 🦊❤️

Day 4 with Wednesday still down. 💔
Today was a small win — we got her up with the hip hoist and she stood on her own for a bit. But between those moments, life on the homestead doesn't pause. Her calf still needs to eat.
So that's where you'll find me — sitting right behind my down cow, making sure that baby gets what it needs.
This is the part nobody warns you about when you start homesteading. It's not always pretty sunrises and fresh milk. Sometimes it's sitting in the dirt next to a sick animal, doing whatever it takes.
We're not giving up on Wednesday. 🤞
