Who's going to hop down the rabbit hole with us this Sunday! I am so happy to get to show off our cabin....FINALLY.

Here is a preview of what your drive will be like. It gets a little "wiggle" out here so I thought I'd show you the way. Thanks to my cameraman, Augie, for helping me with this perfect visual representation of the drive as you leave Hupp Rd. It is truly part of that holiday song, "over the river and through the woods"!

The most direct route if you are coming through Beverly, OH is taking 339 northeast from town to Hupp Rd. Left on Hupp will have you wandering around a bit. Across a bridge then the Y in the road on to Spook Hollow. Go figure, they can't keep a street sign there!

~Please pay attention to the sign at the bottom assign times to come UP and when you can go down the hill.~ I am not responsible for those that want to play chicken with other vehicles!!

Please park in neat rows so others can come and go easily. No visits with the Barn Beasties this time. We'll do that in the Spring

If you really have trouble walking, there is limited parking in that area but no more then 3 cars fit in there comfortably.

Blast from the past but still good stuff. Stock up now. Get it from me, Bellavenue Manor and I'll be set up at the Warren Local Bands: Craft Fairs on November 7th

And, one edit. I misspoke in the video. The pancreas does not produce "acids". I should have said pancreatic juices but even that isn't actually accurate. It produces fluids that help digest food which is what my point is all about. Just clearing that up!

I did a search online to further educate myself on the candidates I could vote for.

I don't vote party line.

I took that list and then asked it to be sorted to show me how they were running their campaigns. Were they speaking about what THEY planned to do and HOW they thought they could get it done? Or, were they spending more of their funds to badmouth what their opponents did? If they already had a political career what was their voting record? Did they only vote as their party affiliation voted or did they cross party lines. Did they vote most of the time or not show up? Did they vote for or against what would mostly benefit the big companies? Where did their campaign funds come from? How much was nonprofit organizations giving them money when they don't have to disclose where they got the funds to begin with.

If you haven't voted and you are open for an education....dig deeper. You don't have to tow the lines that your family tows. You don't have to vote just credit or just blue. What is that candidate going to do with your vote of confidence?

Please keep in mind that the appointments in McConnelsville are only for established clients. My schedule there is normally so full that I am not taking new clients to be sure I can take care of those that I've already committed to. IF there is still an opening 24 hours prior to its time, I am happy to offer it to a new client. I have a waiting list and if you'd like to be added just let me know.

Reiki sessions are only being done at my farm as those are longer appointments and I cannot fit them into my time in McConnelsville.

Hey to my artists, bakers, creators, and crafters! Did you see that my cabin is up and running! I'm now working on planning some "retreat" times for '27.

That sounds CRAZY to be looking into next year but 'tis the time! I'd like to collaborate with groups that would enjoy some time in a cabin in the woods with their "interest of choice." While I can offer classes on a variety of subjects I can't do it all!

Are there knitters, quilters, crafters, readers, writers, hikers, bikers, that would like to work together to create a weekend "away"? The cabin sleeps 8 with 3 queen size beds and 2 twins. There is a full kitchen and plenty of room to spread out.

I'm happy to pitch in with some of the cooking, I can offer "add-on" classes if you want to break up your own projects, meet-n-greets with the Barn Beasties can be arranged and I'm working with my Lady Alpacas for walks around the property.

Lets talk details, group rates and add-on schedules! Don't miss out on a chance to marvel at one (or more) of our beautiful sunsets!

It's such a pretty and friendly town! Come for a visit! Heritage Day is this Saturday. If you're here for the weekend, hop on by our Open House on Sunday. A beautiful 30 minute drive south of McConnelsville

You've followed along as I posted about our progress in the cabin. You saw the skeleton of beams and rafters become fleshed out with walls and a roof. Piles of lumber turned into floors. Gourds turned into lights. Battered slate became a beautiful wall.

Sunday is your chance to see, in person, the finished work. A cabin we hope will attract guests who want to relax and heal. Guests who will experience the grounding effect of being in a natural setting. Guests will leaving better off for spending some time on our very healing property.

Hop by between 2 and 6! Watch for the signs at the bottom and top of our drive directing traffic traffic to flow up or down during specific times. Enjoy a comfortable walk to the cabin.

I can't wait to hand out hugs and c***r!

This sweetie was drenched from our torrential downpour in McConnellsville this afternoon. Hiding behind my office I couldn't leave her there. She's currently enjoying some moist food after I insulted her with a flea treatment. She sat calmly on my lap for the whole drive home and actually obeyed my "stay right there" when I set her on the other seat as I went in to get our pizza.

I would love to find her humans if they are looking for her. She has a VERY unique feature so if they can identify that we can make arrangements to get her home. If no one steps up she will join our Barn Beasties and live a good, healthy life after a vet check.
