Good morning, or afternoon, or evening....whenever you are reading this I hope it is a "good" part of the day!

I have a favor to ask. If you have been a client or customer, would you mind leaving a review of my services and items you have purchased from me? It helps others understand what I do and lets them know the good the bad and the.....well....not the ugly because I don't do ugly. But you get what I mean.

With the cabin ALMOST ready for rentals (gulp) it would be helpful for new people to understand that they will receive the best I can supply.

Trash or treasure?

Well, it came into my life 14 years ago on trash day in my mom's neighborhood. A slight crack in the frame but still very sound. Nothing some glue and clamps won't fix! It's been stored in a garage, a basement and, for 4 years, my barn.

Yesterday I began CPR, Creative Potential Rescue. This mid-century channel-back tub chair will soon grace the cabin. It is sooooo comfortable to sit on.

I snickered.......well.....maybe it was a snort followed by a bit of a giggle.... that might have become a maniacal chortle.

This is my brain! It is rarely an orderly sequencing of steps to walk through my day. It flutters and zooms and suddenly veers in another direction, not off course, just a side hustle for the moment.

This morning's two-step, hokey pokey? The task was to get the Barn Beasties fed. Check... got that accomplished. Eh, let's tie up those tomato plants as you are already strolling by the garden. Darn you should really pull that patch-o-weeds. Ooooo, a kitten! Pet pet pet. "Is that thunder? It is supposed to rain. " Nope, Liath's purr is that loud.

And now, an hour later, I am finally eating breakfast (fresh goats' milk yogurt with granola) while listening to Star Wars battles taking place on my back deck. I THINK I have counted more than 12 hummers on just this 1 feeder.

While I love cats and have shared the lives of dozens of them, there are just too many unwanted cats and dogs being born. Please, be responsible and spay or neuter yours.

It's time for another massage gift certificate auction! This time the proceeds will go to MoCo Kitty to sponsor as many spay/neuters as possible. Down The Rabbit Hole Acres just took in this little charmer. Dumped at a friend's farm, I just couldn't resist. We have plenty of room in the barn and our other 4 won't mind sharing the rodent population.

It's the season for precious kittens and pups to magically appear at farms. Dumped when other people aren't able or responsible enough to have their cats and dogs spayed or neutered. Help me raise funds to put a dent in that trend?
