Got to Pridgin pretty early so the food truck wasnt running yet. So I decided to stop by Point Remove on the way home for pizza and one more. Got the Mango Habanero Gose. Its great! I love a good spicy beer. Also, the bathroom is hilarious.

Did you know there is a Scranton, Arkansas? Better yet, did you know there is a brewery there? Pridgin Family Brewery. I've been here once before and since I was in the area to run a race, decided to make the trip back for post-run beverages. Its a quick hop off I-40 and well worth it. Everything I had was delicious.

I took home the Honey Grove Pecan Brown Ale. Not enough breweries do a brown ale in my opinion. One of my favorite styles.

Going to be at Mt. Nebo for a race tomorrow and planning to spend some time at the park after so I can have a late lunch at Pridgin Family Brewery. I've only managed to get by here once before, but it was a great experience and I'd love to make it back.

Who puts a stout out in summer anyway--guess we do. Brand new beer on draft today: the London Fog Stout! Brewed with a plethora of specialty malts (honey, roasted barley, chocolate) and milk sugar, this batch was further conditioned on something we know a thing or two about--earl grey tea--and vanilla.
Big nose of chantilly cream, a lengthy middle note of smores, with a bright, lifted finish of fine earl grey tea (the same tea we use in our Earl Grey ESB). Layered, complex, and a real midweek treat. See ya soon!

I havent been going out as much lately, but decided to stop by Paper Hearts Bookstore to order something new to read, and if you do you get $1 off a beer at my favorite spot, Moody Brews.

Tried the Stomp Lager. Not my usual style but nice and refreshing on yet another 100 degree day. Stop in and give it a try.

In NWA for work reasons and got to stop into a new place, for me. Ive had their beers before but not been to the tap room. The Commoner is definitely a win. And not being an IPA person, the Hazy Parade is actually delightful.

Also picking up an old shirt that you can get with a 6 pack for $20. What a deal!

While at Gravity BrewWorks this weekend, I talked with a couple from the Jonesboro area and learned about a Meadery I had never heard of. I have done my best to pile an extensive list of Brewerys and Brewery-adjacent places in the state, but it's always possible I have missed something, and new places open all the time.

If you have a place I haven't heard of, please let me know! I am hoping to make it to every one in the state and I am well on my way. Need to spend more time in Northwest Arkansas to finish up the list.

I've had many a Gravity Brewwork beer before but I've never actually made it to the brewery. Great choice today. Some of the nicest locals and bartenders you'll ever meet. Make sure you take cash for a tip. The beers are all top notch. It's a little out of the way but well worth the trip. If you want to go to Blanchard Springs anyway and makes a perfect stop.

What is my favorite brewery in central Arkansas? 100% Moody Brews. I'm at flyway more often because its is close to me and I love the servers and the regulars. But I also love the servers and the beer at Moody. The Earl Grey is probably one of the best beers Ive ever had. Not to mention the Cuban Pull. And Josiah brews the only IPAs I will sometimes like. If you are in Little Rock. You wont be disappointed at Moody Brews.
