So I finally got to try the newest brewery in Jonesboro, Lebowskis. Definitely a different feel from Native, which is probably one of my favorite breweries in the state, but it was still a great place. The food was really good. I had the fish and chips, which I would definitely recommend. Two flights. They were all good. The Belgian Dubble was my least favorite, which surprised me, but the Marzen and English Brown were stand out favorites. The flights come with little collector business cards to identify your b**rs, which i havent seen before but is a fantastic idea. Gotta catch them all!

I'm always glad to see new places open up and Lebowskis is a place you'll want to try.

If you get a chance, stop by and visit Stones Throw this week. I especially recommend Mondays when they do $5 crowlers. Best deal in the biz.

Listen, I'm not generally one to be all woe-is-me and put all our business out there on the interwebz. But dang, sometimes you just get dealt a hand you can't play alone.

You see, we're in a 100+ year old building. Which means our plumbing is 100+ years old. And the other day it said "I'm done."

So what started as a small spot repair has turned into a complete replacement of the sewer line in most of the building ($$$$$$$$).

Good news - the taproom plumbing is downstream of the damage and is still functional.

So if you could, stop by in the next few days and have a b**r.... get a gift card... take some b**r home. Every little bit helps as we wade our way through this situation.

Got to Pridgin pretty early so the food truck wasnt running yet. So I decided to stop by Point Remove on the way home for pizza and one more. Got the Mango Habanero Gose. Its great! I love a good spicy b**r. Also, the bathroom is hilarious.

Did you know there is a Scranton, Arkansas? Better yet, did you know there is a brewery there? Pridgin Family Brewery. I've been here once before and since I was in the area to run a race, decided to make the trip back for post-run beverages. Its a quick hop off I-40 and well worth it. Everything I had was delicious.

I took home the Honey Grove Pecan Brown Ale. Not enough breweries do a brown ale in my opinion. One of my favorite styles.

Going to be at Mt. Nebo for a race tomorrow and planning to spend some time at the park after so I can have a late lunch at Pridgin Family Brewery. I've only managed to get by here once before, but it was a great experience and I'd love to make it back.

Who puts a stout out in summer anyway--guess we do. Brand new b**r on draft today: the London Fog Stout! Brewed with a plethora of specialty malts (honey, roasted barley, chocolate) and milk sugar, this batch was further conditioned on something we know a thing or two about--earl grey tea--and vanilla.
Big nose of chantilly cream, a lengthy middle note of smores, with a bright, lifted finish of fine earl grey tea (the same tea we use in our Earl Grey ESB). Layered, complex, and a real midweek treat. See ya soon!

I havent been going out as much lately, but decided to stop by Paper Hearts Bookstore to order something new to read, and if you do you get $1 off a b**r at my favorite spot, Moody Brews.

Tried the Stomp L***r. Not my usual style but nice and refreshing on yet another 100 degree day. Stop in and give it a try.

In NWA for work reasons and got to stop into a new place, for me. Ive had their b**rs before but not been to the tap room. The Commoner is definitely a win. And not being an IPA person, the Hazy Parade is actually delightful.

Also picking up an old shirt that you can get with a 6 pack for $20. What a deal!
