Not all swarm retrievals are created equal! 🐝✨
Early yesterday morning at 7:05 AM, we got the call for a honeybee swarm in West Elmira. When we arrived, we found them nestled 14 feet up in a tree, sitting right over unlevel ground.
There is no standard textbook written for situations like this. Moments like this demand creativity, resourcefulness, and a completely positive outlook. It is about assessing the environment, respecting the bees, and engineering a safe way to bring them down to earth. 🛠️💛
We are so grateful for the opportunity to serve our Chemung County community and give these incredible pollinators a safe new home where they can thrive. 🌸

Nature always finds a way, even in the middle of town! 🌎✨We received word about this incredible honeybee swarm hanging out in downtown Elmira, NY. Swarming is completely natural—it is just the colony's way of reproducing and searching for a new neighborhood. We are thrilled to share that the capture was a complete success! This swarm has been safely relocated to their new, permanent home here at Honeybeemade. They are settling in beautifully, and we can't wait to watch this hive grow. Thank you to everyone in Elmira who respects and protects our local pollinators! 🐝💛
