A couple photos to show the (one of the) summer projects. What a wild ride. Excited about how it turned out. Original design 🤣 and this winter will be nerve wracking.

What should we grow this winter?

Welcome our two new kids at the farm. Very exciting weekend. We are very excited. It was kind of a surprise. I was hoping for the end of the week. ❤️

So, since I didn't level out the ground, and other reasons, I am sinking foam insulation down under the walls. The greenhouse will have usable dirt floors. Crqzy. I know. Excited to get the trees inside next week.

Everything is trying their best to look pretty!! What are you eating out of the garden so far this summer?

I brought a bowl of cut watermelon out this afternoon for the goats. They loved it. There was nothing left but juice for the chickens who came late to the party.

This chicken was playing Marco - Polo with me in the barn. I thought i was starting to lose it in this heat. She was hiding in a very small spot.

Afternoon watermelon for all the animals. They all love it. The goats were not sure their first go around, but now they love it as well. New pool water for the ducks. It has been just awful this week. Have to make sure everybody is taken care of during the heat wave.
